My week in media too

January 10, 2008

Inspired by the writer of this blog, who got her inspiration from the writer of this blog, who got her inspiration from the writer of this blog… ok you get the idea – actually I wasn’t inspired at all – more press-ganged into it 😉 anyway, I am going to write about my week in media…

What I’ve read

  • Heavily into Long Way Down by Ewan McGregor (double swoon) and Charley Boorman – lovin it…
  • My Booky Wook by Russell Brand – am finding this quite intense (but brill none the less) – so intersperse it with a bit of Ewan – now there’s an interesting thought 😉
  • Erm… that’s about it – does TV Times count?

 What I’ve listed to

  • Horizon radio (car journeys to and from work – can’t beat a bit of ‘cueball and roz’ in the morning).
  • A very, very eclectic mix that I’m currently putting onto my new ipod, so far we’ve got Scissor Sisters, the sound track to Top Gun (seemed like a good idea at the time!), Amy Winehouse, Take That, the soundtrack to Dirty Dancing (this one I’m not apologising for!), a bit of Robbie, Ella Fitzgerald, The Temptations and the classical chillout album…

 What I’ve watched

  • Masterchef – some kind of sick torture I put myself through – watching cooking shows when on a diet.
  • Dawn of the Dead, never a good idea to watch zombie films while darling boyf is out with the lads and you’ve only got two cats for protection!
  • Bridget Jones’ Diary.
  • PS, I Love You at the cinema – very good chick flick with plenty of eye-candy to feast on 🙂

 What I’ve surfed

  • Perez Hilton – we’re not worthy…
  • My friend’s blogs
  • Facebook. It helps to eleviate the boredom of being back at work!

That’s about it – think I’ve just worked out why my mates told me to do my blog on this – it makes them look all fab and intellegent and makes me look like… well me 😉
