How to grow rhubarb…

My nan has always maintained that if your rhubarb isn’t growing very well you should cover it with a black bucket – apparently the dark makes it flourish…

This is worth knowing as I’m a little sad at the mo that one of my favourite bloggers rhubarb-rhubarb ruby, has been decidedly quiet recently. This is a shame as she’s a fab writer (and incidentally one of the friends who inspired me to write this blog) and I really want her blog to ’grow’. So come on ruby, get blogging, you don’t want me to have to put your head in a black bucket do you
